2.Definitions

• "Platform": The MassEvent mobile application and its associated services
• "User": Any entity (individual or legal entity) using the platform
• "Participant": Any individual who can participate in events, create them, publish participation photos, add friends and follow organizations
• "Organizer": Any entity (individual or legal entity) creating events, who cannot participate in events (in the sense of registering), developing a community (participants can follow the organizer, but the organizer cannot add friends or follow other organizations)
• "Event": Any event created and managed through the platform
• "Content": All elements (texts, images, videos) published by users
• "Service": All features offered by MassEvent

3.Acceptance of terms

Using the MassEvent platform implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not use our service.

4.Service description

MassEvent is an event social network that acts as a platform connecting participants wishing to discover and participate in events and organizers creating these events, seeking visibility and reaching as many people as possible, benefiting from event management assistance, feedback collection, statistics analysis and continuous improvement.

4.1.Main features

• Event creation and management: Users can create detailed events with unique and multiple choices, pricing options, location, dates, description, categories and all necessary information. They benefit from complete management of the event lifecycle (draft, published, ongoing, completed). They can also publish photos in their events gallery.
• Payment service: Integration of a payment system for paid events. This service is simulated and unavailable in the beta version but will be available in the final version.
• Feedback collection: System allowing all participants to give their opinion and feedback on events they have participated in, contributing to the continuous improvement of organizers.
• Advanced search: Precise search for events, participants and organizations with multiple filters.
• Personalized discovery: Recommendation algorithm based on user preferences, participation history and interests to discover relevant events.
• Event participation: Registration and participation in events with tracking of past and future participations.
• Social interactions:
  • Friends system allowing to add and manage relationships
  • Publication and viewing of participation photos
  • Tracking participations of your friends network via the news feed
  • Integrated messaging system to chat on the application
  • Personalized profile pages displaying past and future participations
• Statistics and analytics: Complete dashboard with detailed statistics allowing organizers to enter a continuous improvement approach, including performance tracking, engagement metrics, views, participations and participant feedback.

5.Registration and user account

5.1.Registration conditions

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Accurate information: You must provide truthful information
• One account: One account per individual
• Responsibility: You are responsible for your account security

5.2.Verification

• Email: Optional email address verification
• Phone: Optional phone number verification
• Certification badge: Organizations can obtain a certification badge by providing all required information for their identification and legitimacy at "contact@massevent.fr", indicating as email subject: "Certification - Organizer Username".

6.Service usage

6.1.Conduct rules

You agree to:

• Use MassEvent solely for personal purposes and in accordance with applicable laws
• Respect other users
• Not publish illegal, offensive, inappropriate, discriminatory, hateful or sexual content
• Not impersonate others
• Not spam or harass other users
• Respect copyright and intellectual property

6.2.Prohibited content

• Pornographic, violent, or shocking content
• Discriminatory or hateful content
• Content inciting violence or hatred
• Defamatory or slanderous content
• Content violating copyright
• Spam, unauthorized advertising

7.User content

7.1.Content responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the content you publish
• You guarantee having all necessary rights to your content
• You agree not to violate third-party rights

7.2.Moderation

• MassEvent reserves the right to moderate content
• Possible removal of inappropriate content
• Possible account suspension in case of violation

8.Intellectual property

8.1.MassEvent rights

• The platform and its source code are protected by copyright
• The "MassEvent" trademark is protected
• Limited use license granted to users
• Any reproduction, distribution, modification or decompilation of the application, without prior authorization, is strictly prohibited

8.2.User rights

• You retain your rights to your content
• You grant a non-exclusive license to MassEvent for display
• You can delete your content at any time

9.Payments and billing

9.1.Payment system

• Stripe: Secure payment processor
• Security: No credit card data stored
• Fees: No transaction fees currently

9.2.Refund policy

9.3.MassEvent Beta

• Transactions: Transactions are simulated for the beta version. No charges are made.

10.Responsibilities

10.1.MassEvent responsibility

• MassEvent strives to maintain service availability
• No guarantee of continuous availability
• Liability limited to direct damages

10.2.User responsibility

• Compliance with these Terms of Service
• Use in accordance with the law
• Responsibility for published content

10.3.Liability limitation

• MassEvent cannot be held liable for indirect damages
• Liability limited to the amount of fees paid
• Exclusion of liability for data loss

11.Suspension and termination

11.1.Suspension

• Terms violation: Temporary suspension possible
• Inappropriate content: Suspension until correction
• Fraud: Immediate suspension

11.2.Termination

• By user: Account deletion at any time
• By MassEvent: In case of serious violation
• Effect: Personal data deletion

12.Data protection

The protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with GDPR.

13.Terms modifications

• Notification: User information of modifications
• Acceptance: Continued use = acceptance of new conditions
• Refusal: Stop using if not accepted

14.Applicable law and jurisdiction

• Applicable law: French law
• Jurisdiction: Courts of Lille
• Mediation: Prior attempt at amicable resolution
